The competition’s cutest contender Luke Lucas had us all cringing tonight when he fluffed his performance at Judges Houses.
The young singer was forced to start again when Gary told him his rendition had gone off course but despite his second chance it seemed that the pressure had got to the young contender and he never recovered.
After his performance Luke tearfully told Dermot it looked like he was headed for home before breaking down in the grounds of Gary’s LA Mansion.
Despite this Robbie Williams urged Gary to consider Luke’s initial audition when making his final decision, saying that he “held a candle” for him.
In Luke’s first audition Tulisa loved him and he’s even got a kiss off Holly Willoughby. The 16 year old cutie certainly has charm struggled a little at bootcamp, and now faces stiff competition in LA.
After the Boys category has won two years in a row, the pressure is on for new judge and mentor Gary Barlow to pick a winning set of boys to take to this year’s live shows.
From the thousands who auditioned there are now just 8 acts left, and in the Take That star took the hopefuls to LA where he is joined by fellow Take That member Robbie Williams.
Here they faced some tough decisions as only four slots are available for next week’s live show, but who will follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner Matt Cardle?
The eight acts vying for a place tonight were Frankie Cocozza, Craig Colton, James Michael, John Wilding, Joe Cox, Luke Lucas, Marcus Collins and Max Vickers.
