Cher Lloyd has admitted that she doesn’t enjoy living like a popstar.

The 18 year old star has been moving from one hotel to another, as she tours the UK to promote her new chart topping single ‘Swagger’ Jagger.’ However, she has admitted that she’d much rather be at home with her mum and dad, where at least she gets her washing done for her.

The pint sized singer told Metro:

“I’m staying in hotels and it’s not nice. I’d rather be home – where my mum does my washing.”

However, much as Cher loves her hometown of Malvern, she doesn’t love her strong regional accent. Joking that people think she sounds like a farmer, she added:

“People keep meeting me and saying I sound like a farmer, like ‘ooooh aargh’. Hopefully the accent’s disappearing because I’m spending so much time in London.”

Lloyd has attracted a lot of attention for her outspoken attitude and often brat like behaviour. However, she insists that she is determined to stay true to herself and won’t quieten down for anyone. The X Factor star added:

“You have to be in your face and not care. It’s all part of my stage presence.”

Cher’s debut single Swagger Jagger topped the UK single charts on Sunday. She will release her as yet untitled album this autumn.
