X Factor’s Cher Lloyd will release Swagger Jagger this July!

It has previously been reported that Cher Lloyd was planning to release her debut single in September 2011, but the pint sized singer has now revealed that the song will be available to buy two months earlier, towards the end of 31st July.
The X Factor star confirmed that the single will indeed by album track ‘Swagger Jagger’ – a rough version of which was of course leaked online last week – her full album will follow in November.
The song was co-written by The Runners, a hip hop production duo from Orlando, Florida, who have previously worked with stars such as Mariah Carey, Rihanna and Usher.
Speaking in February about working with the famed music duo, Lloyd said:
“I flew over to America to start working on my album. My first stop was Miami where I went to work with The Runners.”
“We did two tracks and I’m very proud of them and I cannot wait for everybody to hear them.”
In a recent press release she added:
“‘Swagger Jagger’ was one of the first tracks we recorded and I loved it straight away and knew it had to be my first single! I hope you all like it. I cannot wait to get out there and perform to you all.”
