Having reportedly played a part in sacking Cheryl Cole from the X Factor USA at the drop of the hat, we’re not surprised to hear that Simon Cowell has asked someone else to leave.

However, this time, Simon has sacked fellow judge Paula Abdul’s dog from attending the auditions with her, after it was reported that they were eating more expensive restaurant meals that he was!

According to the Daily Mail, pampered pooch Tulip would often join Paula and Simon for gourmet dinners after filming for the auditions stopped. The dog would sit on Paula’s lap, devour her own dinner and then wash it down with Evian water (Tulip doesn’t like tap water dahhhling).

And now it appears as though Si’s had enough, with a source revealing: “It was pretty gross. Tulip would wolf down her entire plate in seconds and then bark, whine and beg at Simon for his food.

“He told Paula she had to put a stop to this – that it was unhygienic and embarrassing. I gather the final straw for him was that one day Paula ordered a main course for the dog that was more expensive than Simon’s. He just couldn’t get his head around that.”

With Tulip now banished to eating her meals from a dog bowl, like any regular dog, the source continued: “Paula adores Tulip but she’s not going to argue with Simon, especially after what happened to Cheryl.”

Of the matter, a spokesperson for Simon refused to comment.
