The Daily Mail are reporting that Joe McElderry has been dropped by SYCO and will not make a second album on the label.

Although he is still on Syco’s books, his deal runs out in about a month and it won’t be renewed.

Joe now joins Steve Brookstein, Shayne Ward and Leon Jackson as previous winners to be dropped by SYCO.
